Dutchman Motorsports' 32 Chassis

Selling a chassis to a machinist is tough. Keith and Todd wanted us to build them a chassis. Here are some pictures as we worked on this project. Keith is running a high horse power big block in his '32 Sedan. We have installed special 3/16" boxing plates, 3/4" threaded sleeves, and special plates for additional support. Kugel is supplying the IFS and there will be a Dutchman IRS. Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed designing the chassis.

These tabs are welded in place to align the boxing plate correctly.

The vertical plate is located where we weld the tubular center cross member. Keith (Dutchman) wanted 3/4" sleeves so he machined these threaded sleeves for us to weld in where we would normally weld square nuts.

Here you see the 3/16" boxing plates "tacked" in place with a "tig." The plug welds are done to attach the vertical plates to the inside boxing plate.

Here's a clean Brake Pedal Mount with removable bracket for easy service. It gives you lots of room for your headers. In the picture to the right you can see the heavy duty 3/16" boxing plate and the 1" threaded sleeves.
