1934 Roadster: Chris Malcolm's Dream car
 
Stock rails would not allow us to get low enough. So we build some custom rails that were 2" higher then stock.

We built a special fixture to build this custom frame in order to keep everything straight.
For the rear, we kicked the rails up 3.5".  It looks like a drive line tunnel in the floor of this car.
