1933 Chevrolet Owned by Greg Meyer

Above pictures are before and after

This was originally a 1933 Coupe and the previous owner changed it to a roadster. We decided to replace the 70 year old wood with metal.  During the dissembling we welded braces to retain the stock shape.  The body was taken in for dipping.

We feel that every fine Hot Rod needs a good foundation. The majority of our chassis start with 2x6 instead of 2x4, we feel the frame rails need to be at least the same size as stock.  A Kugel front end and Jag rear end will fit nicely under this car.  We set up the rear with "Shock Waves" in front and Alden coil overs in the rear. The Jag rear end had to be shorten 4" down to 56".  We do not care for the front wheel drive type wheels on a "Hot Rod".  Check out the mounting of the trailing arm on the same plane as the lower mounts.
