| 1947-54 Chevrolet Pick Up Chassis |

We wanted to build a 47-54 Chev Pick Up chassis that would be both strong and use todays suspension technology. So we built it out of 2 x 6 and shaped the profile of the classic frame. We will using the Heidt's front cross member on the economy and air ride suspension and the Kugel on the show chassis. All frames are pinched behind the last running board bracket to allow for larger tires. Chassis can be ordered with air ride, coil overs or leaf spring suspension. All frames use the removable transmission cross member (not shown in this picture). Provisions for the stock battery box, cab mounts and running boards have be made to allow you to bolt on these stock items. |
Front frame rails have been notched for the rack and pinion. Front cross member is set up for radiator mounting in stock location. Straight shot for the steering linkage to your steering column. |

The rear cross member is set up the spare tire mount. The gas tank can be mounted in this location.

This chassis is being set up with Air Ride's front Bag Kit with Heidts A-Arms. |
