The tubular center section is welded in another jig then welded in place. All pieces are computer bent and all straight pieces are "CNC" end milled instead of using a notching tool, this assures a perfect fit every time. The rear cross member is "index drilled" on the "CNC" machine for proper alignment of the holes.
The frame rails are removed from our boxing plate jig that is index 13 times across. Here the finish welding is done on the hard to reach places.
From there the frame rails go on our suspension jig to have the suspension brackets welded in at ride height. This is very important to maintain assure the best possible ride.
Because of trade secrets we did not show our boxing, suspension and cross member jigs. |
