Inside view of the rear trunk area before the floor pan was installed.  Check out the modified wheel wheels.  Just enough to get the bigger tires inside the fenders.  
The firewall had to be moved back 4" in order to fit the new 502 Ramjet.  The top came from the junk yard.  It matched the contour of the 32.  Body has no plastic filler.  All seams done in lead.

These older cars always cracked on the corners of the trunk, because of the natural seams from the factory.  This body must have been put together on Monday,  it was 1/2" off from each side.  Check out the filled seams and round corners on the trunk.  The stock height back window looks like the car was built this high from the factory.

Picture says a thousand words.  You will not believe how nice the doors fit and latch.  Remember the pictures viewed on this page are in bare metal.
What you don't see is the finished view of the toe board area and the perfect fire wall that was formed from wooden dies.
