After years of extensive radiator design testing and research on all types of automotive and high performance radiators manufactured world wide, U.S. Radiator is now offering to the performance automotive enthusiasts the most efficient thermo-dynamic radiator tested to date.  Over the years several manufacturers have built versions of the triple pass radiator for racing, the most popular being midget and sprint cars, in an effort to obtain maximum temperature drop (inlet to outlet) in a very small or limited space.  Using their state of the art wind tunnel and cooling system simulator, U.S. Radiator has determined that "core design", and not material (copper vs. aluminum). and "adequate air-flow" are the most important aspects for obtaining maximum coolant temperature drop from radiator inlet to outlet.  By building internal walls in the radiator, the coolant is re-routed to pass through the radiator (top to bottom or side to side) three times resulting in three separate exposures to temperature dropping air-flow, with little or no adverse flow restriction. The result is an average 15% reduction in radiator outlet temperatures.  U.S. Radiator now offers this unique flow design on all non-trans. cooler type radiators in their extensive line of high performance vehicle applications.
